Brussels sprouts often get a bad rap, but when prepared and cooked properly, these mini cabbage like sprouts can be quite flavorful and even a little sweet. So, what's the secret to making the best tasting Brussels sprouts? By roasting them! Pre-heat your oven to 450F with a sheet pan - not a baking dish - on the bottom rack. In a bowl, toss the sprouts with oil, salt and pepper. Once the sheet pan is nice and hot, remove it and place the sprouts cut side down. Pop in the oven for 25 minutes for tender sprouts. Prefer them super crisp and carmelized? Roast for another 15 minutes. And finally, finish them off with more seasoning right before serving.
