Cold Brew, Three Ways
The warmer months are upon us, and that means it’s the perfect time for cold brew! With Stumptown’s Cold Brew Concentrate, you can be your own barista and make the refreshing summer pick-me-up at home.
Since this concentrate is twice as strong, you have a few options for drinking it, including pouring a shot over ice or diluting it with equal parts water. But if you want to shake things up a bit, we have three sweet ways to serve cold brew.
Sweet Vanilla Cold Brew
Add ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour in a glass jar and store in the fridge.
Add ice in the vessel of your choosing. Pour one part Stumptown Cold Brew Concentrate and one part milk (we prefer whole milk!) over top. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup. Stir and enjoy!
Brown Sugar Shaken Cold Brew
Add ½ cup brown sugar and ½ cup water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Pour in a glass jar and store in the fridge.
Combine one part Stumptown Cold Brew Concentrate, one part milk, 1 to 2 tablespoons of brown sugar syrup, dash of cinnamon, and ice in a cocktail tin. Shake for 30 seconds.
Strain into a glass with ice. Enjoy!
Iced Mocha
Drizzle hot chocolate syrup into a glass, then add ice. Pour one part Stumptown Cold Brew Concentrate and one part Chocolate Milk over top. Stir and enjoy!
