Hawaiian Ham & Swiss Sliders
These pull-apart sliders are perfect for your next gathering. Made with juicy ham and melted cheese that's nestled between sweet Hawaiian rolls and finished with a buttery glaze. Talk about finger-licking good!
What You Need:
- 12-ct Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 2 packages Applegate Naturals Deli ham
- 1 package Tillamook Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) Alpenrose unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×9-inch or 9×13-inch pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
-
Using a large serrated knife, slice the rolls in half to create a top and bottom 'slab.' Place the bottom half in the prepared pan.
-
Layer half of the ham over the bottom half of the rolls, then add the cheese, followed by the remaining ham. Top with the other half of the rolls.
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter on high power for about 1 minute. Add mustard, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine.
-
Evenly pour the butter mixture over the assembled rolls. Use a spatula to spread it over the tops, allowing some to pool at the base.
-
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and let it stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes.
-
Bake the covered sliders for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
-
Uncover and continue baking for 3 to 5 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning, as baking times may vary.
-
Remove from the oven and slice into individual sliders. Serve immediately while warm and fresh.
